La Zenia Beach. Closest to the villa, and consists of two independant beaches each with easy parking and access. The main beach has many facilities including restaurants, beach bars and watersports facilities. The beaches are wonderful soft white sand and ideal for all the family |

Campoamor Beach. A wonderful family beach which stretches out for over a kilometer in length. A second large beach is reached at the left hand end, whilst the right hand end has a small harbour for the local yaught club. Easy parking and access along with full facilities such as restaurants and beach bars. There is also a watersports area in the centre of the beach. |

Cabo Roig. South facing beach which captures the sun all day. Parking is at the top of the cliffs with access down steps or a long ramp. The water is very shallow and safe for families. There is a small harbour on the left. The beach has a single beach bar and sunbeds. |

Cala Capitan Beach. A quiet beach with a single beach bar and no watersports. There are a number of rocks which swimmers enjoy exploring. Easy access and parking at the rear of the beach. Gets less crowded than La Zenia. |

Small Coves and Inlets. There are many of these quiet beaches in the area. Great if you want to get away from the crowds. There are no facilities so you will need to make your own arrangements. Access is variable, but it is well worth the effort of pointing the car towards the coast to see what you might find. The one pictured is a little gem, so were not advertising where it is! |

Clifftop Walks. The area abound is clifftop walks with fantastic views over the quiet bays, rugged coastline and distant views over the Mar Menor and La Manga. |

Torrevieja Sea Front. There are a number of beaches around Torrevieja, however paved promenades fronts the main town. The promenade has many areas for relaxing and sunbathing with specially designed areas for swimming and diving. Along the promenade there are small sand beaches which are used until late in the evening. |

Alicante and beyond. To the north is the famous Costa Blanca resorts of Alicante and Benidorm. They are well worth a visit to enjoy the fabulous beaches by the day, and the nightlife until the early hours. |
