This Villamartin villa is a superb
privately owned Costa Blanca home. It is fully equipped for
holiday rentals. Whilst Verdemar III Villa is only few minutes
from the Villamartin Golf complex it has no association with the golf course,
any golf employees, golf associations, agents or any subsidiary of Villamartin
Golf Club in Costa Blanca, Torrevieja or elsewhere.
Local Area
Verdemar is a very special estate within the Villamartin area. A unique feature of the estate is the stream which cascades over numerous waterfalls on its way through a well kept woodland glade. It is quite magical, in fact most weeks you will see brides and grooms come up from the surrounding areas to be photographed in this picturesque area. There is seating along the wooded area where you can sit under the cool of the trees and just enjoy this natural oasis.
The estate has some very interesting wildlife. The stream is crystal clear and it is home to many fish and bullfrogs. You are also likely see squirrels collecting food darting from tree to tree, flocks of parrots fly between the houses and swifts nest throughout the Verdemar estate. During the late spring the air is filled with tiny new born swifts darting too and fro learning to fly and experience their new found freedom. In the evenings the stream is lit up and it takes on a new feel and you can sit out along the stream or on the veranda and enjoy the chorus of bullfrogs with the relaxing sound of the gently cascading waterfalls.
Bars, entertainment, food and drink are all within easy reach of the villa, with the Los Dolces and Villamartin commercial centres within walking distance. The famous plaza is a great place for a lively evening's entertainment. There is an abundance of international cuisine available throughout the Torrevieja area. For those who favour home comforts, local supermarkets have a great choice food & drink at excellent prices.
This part of the Costa Blanca has a contingent of English speaking residents which makes communicating easy. You will find more details of local facilities, attractions, golf courses, beaches, walks, shops & restaurants etc. when you arrive at the apartment
Villamartin enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in the summer and mild temperatures in the winter. The temperatures range from the mild 16 - 20 degrees of January & February to the 28 to 35 degrees of July and August. Most of the year the area is bathed in the warmth of a mild sun at a very comfortable 21 to 28 degrees. The Torrevieja area is well know for the wonderful salt lakes, which stabilises the area creating one of the most beneficial climates in the world.
The roof solarium is ideal for setting up your sun lounger and relaxing in the warm of the sun. We have even enjoyed great sunbathing around Christmas and New Year!
